Default 97 LT Blazer 4 Door Seat Replacement

First post so I apologize in advance for any faux pas.....I know there are several questions about seat replacements and conversions to/from buckets or benches but I'm looking and reading and still scratching my head.

The front seats in my 97 LT Blazer (4 Door) are kaput. I'm assuming some replacement seats from eBay or even some junkyard seats would be less coin ($$$) than a professional leather reupholstering job, so I'm wondering about make/model seat interchangeability. At the very least I'd like to match my interior leather (I believe it's the gray/pewter), so I'm willing to consider non-blazer seats, especially if this approach might lead to heated seats.

I'd appreciate knowing ANY seats you have had success using in place of your Blazer seats. I've seen mention of S10 buckets, Bravada buckets, Sonoma buckets, and even Cavalier seats. But what about Tahoe seats? Or even Silverado/Sierra seats? Anything that the rails, bolt pattern, and wiring would accommodate, I'd love to know.

Here are some 07-14 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra Short Box Crew Cab seats. They're more than I want to spend, but the color is a dead on match and they look perfect..

I put '00 Bravada front seats in my '98. Changed out the dingy looking grey cloth for black, heated leather.

The thing I learned, is 98-04 Blazer, 98-01 Envoy, 98-04 Jimmy, 98-01 Bravada, and 98-04 s10 Pickups are nealy all interchangeable. (Haven't tried the bench seat out)

Your 97 should work with any 97 Blazer, Jimmy, Bravada, or S10 pickup.
I would assume 95 and 96s would work also, but I'm not sure.

I am sure it isn't compatible with anything 98+, without redrilling holes and rewiring for power.

Now I've heard of guys using Cavalier/Sunbird and Camaro seats...but that might just be a 1st gen s10 thing.

My advice....frequent your local salvage yard, and check on Craigslist for people parting out their 97s.

I'm pretty sure anything from an S-Series truck 95-2005 will bolt right in with no extra work. Other seats can be made to work with some fabrication.

I tried 97 Bravada seats in my 98 blazer first.
Three of the bolts line up, but the rear inner T-50 torx bolt does not.
You could drill a new hole, or weld a new bracket on it...
I ended up selling the seats, and buying ones I knew would bolt up.

Good to know. The other thing that one could try is swapping the seat mounting rail of the donor seat to the factory mounting rail of your truck. Not sure if the bolts will line up there either, but it might be easier to make it work this way. I believe that this is how most people that use Camaro or Cavalier seats in their Blazers do it.
