Default 98 conversion

I am new to this and wanting to swap the front end of my 97 blazer to look like a 98 or newer model. Would I need to replace the bumper or will the new grill line up with the stock one? Also I realize I would need a new core support, but would I need a whole new frame that goes around the front of the radiator as well? If anyone has done this and has a list of what they did I would appreciate it tremendously.

The radiator support is actually the whole front sheet metal support. The radiator, hood latch, fenders, grille, A/C condenser and headlights mount to it. You will need to replace everything forward of the tires except the hood and fenders. There are quite a number of choices regarding grilles, valances, and bumpers available. Painted, chrome, with or w/o rub strips, Sonoma, Bravada, etc.
Here's a Google pages with some possibilities:

Best way to do it is to have a complete 98 up that is being junked or parted out and park them side by side.
Wiring will need some mods also.

I did the reverse swap, and needed to change the driver side fender. A lot of things mount to that, and the inside of the fender is actually different.

You are correct. The inner fenders are different for 98 up. ZR2 are also different.
