I wouldn't mind doing this conversion completely, but finacially I am going to have to piece this together. The main thing I hate on my 97 is the Bumper. Instead of being one piece, it is a 3 piece (2 corners, ad the main portion). If I wanted to make mine into the single style bumper would I just need the bumper cover? Or the bumper as well? And finally can I do this, and install, prior to having the grille and headlights updated? Thanks for any and all info ~Brian

your way better off piecing this together in terms of money. you'll save yourself about 300 if you know what your doing.I part these out all the time and i get lots of requests for the front ends. taking it apart and reinstalling is not to bad if you've ever used a socket set or an air gun. if anyone is interested I just bought a 2000 s10 with a very nice front end. Would be willing to sell the whole change over set up to someone if interested. just shot me a PM.

Does the wiring have to change at all? I know when I fixed my 97, it originally had halogen lights, and the replacement front end came with the sealed lights which was a different wiring harness. Do the 98+ plug right in with both, or is there more needed?

this post sparked my interest on performing an upgrade. However, the links appear to be going to the wrong places now, they must have changed the website around...

regardless, I am having a heck of a time tracking the listing for the kits down... suggestions?
