Default Added some black to the front today

Just got home from my dads shop where I painted some black in the front today. I painted the bumper, Bowtie and top chrome strip. I plan to paint the chrome strips on the sides and the badges on the rear soon as well.

Took me about 2 hours with a spray can.
Before, during and after pics, close up of the paint while wet, and a pic of the type of paint I used. It's not as glittery when it dries, its a hammered gunmetal color.

Yep looks good, I hate chrome. Why dont you just debadge it and take the wheel molding off, its just a moisture collector and rust maker anyway

@Newguy. Dont hate on chrome ! What did chrome ever do to you? After all chrome is mainly directed at the 'monkey like shiny crowd' and to a minor degree at the machinery mavins. The way I see it they should be left to enjoy their simple pleasures.
@ OP good job!

Looks a lot better now. Any important prep you did before painting them?

Looks good. I have the same bumper and, like newguy I am not a fan of chrome. Did you have to sand the bumper or anything to get that paint to stick? I am getting ready to matte black the front of mine here in a couple weeks. What did you do to prep? Your rims look good to. Did you use the same paint?

Bet you guys dont know how long your shocks would last without chrome. Or if you could get 200k on a set of rings without chrome. How bright would your headlights be without chrome.

No sanding at all. Just cleaned very well before spraying. Wheels are the same paint as well.
