Default Advice on roof rack

I'm wondering since I don't do any lugging on top of my 98 Blazer, would it be a good idea to go without the rack on top? Will it be a good look ?

I took mine off of my 95. Useless. just remember to put the screws back in the holes or water will leak in there on top of your headliner. I also remember back when I had my 98 and sunroof that if the front cross member was far enough forward it would buffett in the wind and make a terrible whirring noise.. My 95 didn't have sunroof but had no use for it anyhow. Think pics of the Little Easy are still on here.

Eh the pics it still had them on. I liked the cleaner look. You won't really notice the bolts in the top. Not nearly as much as the rack itself.

IMHO, better to have and not need rather than to need it and not have it. I felt the same way as you until Hurricane Katrina hit when we lived on the coast in MS. I was stationed in FL at the time and went home as soon as possible. I figured my wife would want electricity from the generator so I stopped and bought 4 gas cans, some straps and another chain saw on the way home. I didn't want 20 gallons of gas in the back of the Blazer so I strapped then up top. I couldn't have done that if I took the roof rack off.

Something to think about.

That is so true, I think that I will just leave well enough alone. Whenever I have my Blazer repainted I can have the roof rack painted the same color as the body just to be different!?
