Hello everybody, a quick easy question for you, do the Extreme Blazers/S10 have the chrome accent on top of their headlights. It is on my ZR2 and I want to get rid of all the chrome (front grill bar as well). I have been looking at the pics and it looks like it is there but is hard to see. I really don't want to make a big change in the headlights, they seem to work great, plus customs would nail me getting them into Canada from eBay for sure.

Do you mean like a ring around the outside or actually in the casing?

 

I am talking about the ring on the outside. The part showing in this pic, not the reflector in the housing

The chrome bar has to go too, but that is another issue, I think I should be able to swap the whole thing for the Extreme Grille/ Bar?

 

I know my stock ones did and my first set of projectors did too.

 

Thanks for the response, now a follow up question, how do you find your projectors for light and leaking. I know a lot of the aftermarket lights tend to get condensation in them. Are their brands to avoid (APC) or are we very limited in who makes parts for us? Since I am asking questions is it safe to assume that the entire grill/bar setup from my ZR2 is a straight swap for the Extreme of the same phase?

As for the grill assembly It appears like it is the same thing. Try and pull urs off and see if its held on by little metal clips. As for the headlights stay for away from APC brands or course and be careful of EBay. Although my first set was off eBay and was the best set I ever had. Try and find the older style and not the newer ones. If you do buy eBay ones and it fogs up after u open up the little breather things You can always drill a tiny hole in it to let more air flow come through
