Default Billet Fuel Door

Has anyone put a Silverado or F150 or other truck billet fuel door on their blazer? The reason I'm wondering is because you can get them for a lot cheaper.

One like this:

I dont know but you would think that they would have to be custom made for the car right?

well how does it work? do you have to remove your existing fuel door and screw this to the side of your truck or do you make use of the old door somehow? im guessing that if you have to remove your fuel door and screw this to your quarter pannel it shouldnt matter as long as it covers the hole the old door used to cover.

Yea, but just about anything can be modified to fit. $100+ for a locking fuel door is pretty expensive, especially for a 12 year old blazer...... You can get locking fuel doors for newer silverados for $40. Just makes me wonder......

Yea, I'm pretty sure all you do is remove your fuel door and screw the new one where the old one was mounted/screwed in at. But the only reason I would do this is for the locking purpose, so I just wanted to know if the lock would still work since the truck fuel door is probably slightly larger in diameter. I wouldn't mind drilling some holes in the side of the body if I had to, if I knew this would work.

personally, if you want a locking fuel system then Do what i did and spend $15 and get a locking gas cap. It will serve the same purpouse and save you $25, not to mention saving from drilling holes in your quarter pannel.

That's what I was gonna do, but I really like the look of the billet locking fuel doors. So I figured I would give it a shot on here.
