did you sand any of the chrome pieces? ive been wanting to paint all the chrome trim on mine black also. yours turned out awesome.

 

I am just waiting to do the exact same thing. This was the final push to do it, yours looks awsome so there is no more doubt.

 

Thanks everyone. It was pretty simple. I sanded the bumper peice abit because of rust, but nothing lajor. The grille peice I just painted. I am going to give the peices a couple of more coats of clear just to make sure because I have to touch up the corners I missed the first time down in the wheel wells. I am thinking of what it would look like if I did the chrome strips down the side of the blazer also to go along with the front. Those mgith be tricky though.
