Blazer vs. Jimmy front end parts?
 

Hi there all, I just bought a 1999 s10 Blazer. It had been in a minor front end collision and I got it for dirt cheap.
I need to replace all the front lights/grill/bumper and rad support.
Everything else in the front is fine and I had the frame mesured and it's fine also.

I have found a 1999 GMC Jimmy that the guy is just about giving away. (was in a fire but front end is fine)
I'm thinking about converting the front end to the Jimmy parts just because it will be so cheap. I prefer the blazer front end as it looks a lot more agressive but blazer parts will cost me 5 times as much.

Just wondering how interchangeble these to trucks are and if there's something I havent thought of.

Can I just bolt on the Jimmy stuff??
Frame and rad supports the same??
Fenders and hood the same on both??

Frame/rad support/fenders are the same. Hood will fit the same but it has creases that follow the headlights instead of the center crease like the Blazer.

Headlights will work, grille will work, bumper will work.

You can't use Jimmy grille/headlights with a Blazer bumper and vice versa. So as long as you replace everything, you'll be ok.

Shes gonna be a hybrid...Gmc/Chevy Hmm i looked and looked for a related post but didnt find any :(

Yeah, it'll all have to be swapped, but it will fit right on there.
