Bumper Covers??
Ok so I've been lookin at my Blazer and been thinking, I'd like a front bumper that was the same color as the truck (mine is chrome)...
I did some research and I came across these things called "bumper covers." From what I've read, they slide over the existing factory bumper and can be painted to match... Sounds a little weird to me, does anyone have any experience with this?? I'm a little hesitant to spend $250 + for a piece of plastic or urethane that bolts on over a stock bumper, plus I figure $40 for shipping and another $250ish for paint?
Here's a link to the one I'm lookin at..

It's the one with the picture of the Pewter S10 "Keystone Chevrolet S10 Blazer 97-01 Bumper"
Any input is greatly appreciated!

You may also just simply want to take your bumper to a powder coater. They can match any color and it would look factory. Check with your local motorcycle shop for a recommended powder coater in your area.

to install those bumper cover all you need to do is remove ur lower valance and slide the new cover of ur existing bumper, its not to difficult and should come with the hardware needed. those urathane bumpers hold up pretty well and as long as the bumper is preped properly the paint should be as durable as the rest of the body.
