So I'm trying to find total clear tail lights like the ones this guy has http://www.cardomain.com/ride/575538 but all I get is the gay altezza ones.

Anyone know where to find them>

No longer being produced. The company that was making them was molding a DOT number on them and they are not DOT approved. Pretty much ran the company into the ground and they shut the doors. They are not street legal and most were thrown away as soon as people started getting tickets for them. You might luck out and find a set used but most of the time anybody that has them for sale wants an arm and leg for them.

How were they not street legal? I've seen other cars with clear tails. Mostly honda's and whatnot but still. Sucks theydon't make em anymore. I think they're pretty cool

I saw a set a couple weeks ago for sale on S-10 forum for $60.

Not sure if they sold or not though.

Edit: Also came up with these. If they don't show up just enter your vehicle info.

Not to sure why the reverse would be red though.

They could be DOT approved....

I think that the clear lights < blacked out lights...

To be DOT approved they have to have some sort of red reflector in the light. A red reflection from a colored bulb doesn't count. Also a colored glass bulb is not as bright so if you get rear ended on a sunny day don't be surprised.

Back in the late 90s I had a set on a hardbody and still think they are the best looking taillights ever made. At first the cops didn't bother us with them but then we started getting tickets left and right. I sold them cheap but wish I woulda held on to them.

This is a random photo i found on of the mercury tail's, I just dont see any red. Thats why i had always thought they would be legal to buy for other cars. I always thought the all clear tails looked the best.

also, ebay has cleared ones every now and then, i thought about running all clear ones and just switching the back LED's from white to red, but im happy with my combo customized OEM tails
