I haven't done anything, but I was thinking about it. I was thinking to cover it in plexi and have a compartment for my phone or something, and put a usb port somewhere on it and somehow manage to wire that to the head unit or fuses.

Just some ideas

Yeah, some people have put switches on a plate that covers it. (Me included)

I ran the wires through the center console area. I'll see if I can get pics soon. It should be noted that I have a tape holder and not really a cd holder, so it'll look a little different.

I tossed a CB in the tape deck area of my truck, but I'm considering moving it to the CD holder area just for ease of use. I also considered putting a cover over the CD holder area and adding a couple switches or a headphone jack into the radio or something.

Well, for my mount I just glued in a piece of ABS plastic I had laying around and cut the hole for the CB. I imagine your application would be very similar, the difficult part would be making an actual mount for the CB itself. Actually, the more I think about it, the easier it really seems to do... I may do that soon, haha.

Around the trim hole for the CB, take some vacuum line, split it down the middle, and run it around the edge of the hole. That way you have a very nice clean looking cut line.

I am in the process of adding a DVD/Nav system. I plan to install the bass boost ****, the IPod connect, and a few other things on mine.
