When I was a kid about 200 yrs ago Mattel came up with chrome parts in their models. Years later I found how they did it. Very simular to blowing up a light bulb with 220 volts. Called vapor diposition. The Bow Tie is clear plastic vapor deposited on the back side with a gold color metalic.
So to answer your question: prolly not a color mere mortal men can duplicate.
