When you get pics of the finished product, it would be nice to see some pics!!! Also what would be cool is if you did a right up on how you did your taillights!!!

I think he might have been referring to doing something like I did with my taillights. Painting the edges....
Why did you post it before you had the pics ready?

Hey everyone,,, I finally got the pics posted of my taillights, there in my orig post at the top of page..

They look a lot better than I expected them to turn out. The corner of the middle Bowtie doesn't get lit up too well. Did you put clear over top of everything? Is the DOT stamp still visible so the 5-0 won't give you any hassles? Overall I think they look pretty good, a nice little touch. And you did it yourself, best part of custom.

Thank you TBB,, Yes i did them myself, with Dupli color paints from autozone.. The reason for the light being diff in that corner is due to the reflector being in there.. In person it lights up completely though.. The reverse lights are still bright as hell also, I have an extra set of rev lights under my bumper..And also yes it has 3 coats of clear over it,, That was put on after i outlined everything.. Thanks again for your compliment... I already have one side job from this a girl at my job has a 96 blazer LS she wants hers done now... O and yes you can still read all the detail on the lights...3 coats of primer,5 coats paint, 3 coats clear...
