Default defrost vent

ok well its been in the single digits here and today my defrost vent grill was rattling, i touched it and it basically shattered enough to where i just tore it out
i imagine a junkyard one will be in the same condition
is there anyone who makes a billit one, or something that is a better material then plastic
or is there any ideas of how i could make my own?
thanks

seems like the winter weather has made them brittle...same thing happened to me. But I just super glued mine piece back in. lol

A billet one would be nice though.

im already working on a template for a aluminum one

well my dads going to bring me some aluminum tomorrow probably
i have the cardboard template done
and im thinking instead of cutting out long strips
to just drill a bunch of 3/8 inch holes in it

*well we got some 1/8 inch aluminum today
going to cut it with some cutting wheels and might even do the long strips after all
probably going to paint it black or red i havent decided
if there is enough demand, we could make them for you guys for like 30 or 40 bucks

*here it is, not perfect but good enough

I think it looks good! How well does it do at distributing the air across the windshield?
