Default digital gauges

ok i got a guestion on my gauges i noticed these digital gauges everytime i go to the junk yard. I was looking at them on e bay and noticed that the digital ones have a digital gas gauge and a digital tach which my 94 ****ty gauges dont have. My question is if i get those gauges will they plug right in? will my gas gauge work again?!!! i would really like the tach too. I used to have an 84 caddy eldorado touring(only 1300 made) with the digital gauges i like the digi speedo but the gas gauge sucked it would go from 2 to e. And would my mileage change? would it be what was on the truck i took it off of or what i originally had????

there may be some minor wiring for the added gauges, but it should be easy if you have a shop manual. i think, key word think, your mileage will go out the window. the manual tach hold the mileage in it and not the ECU. and as far as the gas gauge - it the gauge in yours is broke then it will come back, if the sensor unit is broke then still a big no.
