Default Door panel/map pocket removal

Hey guys, quick question. I've got a 94 4door, and I need to cut off/remove the map pocket on the drivers' side so I have more leg room. Is there an easy way to remove the map pocket without having to take the door panel off? I'm sure a cutoff wheel or a sawzall would work wonders, but I don't own or know anyone who owns one, so I'm stuck. To me it seems my only option is to remove the door panel and hack at it with a hand saw (more room vs doing it in the truck).

Any tips?

You could try some pruning snips.
