The drivers seat on my 02 ls doesn't go back as far as I would like it to.Any suggestions?

 

Is it broken?

I ran across some schematics online of the seats in an exploded diagram.

I myself would probably just grab a 'new' one at the salvage yard.

 

Its not broke. It just doesn't go back as far as I would like it to. I wish the track was 4 to 6 inches longer.

 

How tall are you? I'm 6' even, and I don't even have the seat ran all the way back.

Maybe fab up some brackets to mount the seat itself farther back?

 

I'm 5-9 and with the seat all the way back I'm still closer to the wheel than any vehicle I've ever had. I just bought my ls on may 1st.from a man who hardly ever drove it ( 89000 miles) I'm still trying to figure everything out.

 

I'm 6', and I'm about an inch to the end of the track. I'm wondering if you modify the bolting locating on the track. No idea how to go upon doing that.
