hit it with a scotch brite pad, then some primer, then the paint. that way the primer hides the scuff scratches. It shouldn't peel.

That is one of the most basic mods you can make, and anybody can do it with 10 minutes and some paint.

OK. Pull the grill off and look at the back behind the bowtie, you will see two nuts. Remove them, and the bowtie will slide right out of the front of the grill.

well, i only have half of it done, and im a little dissapointed.there was only enough in the pack for the top half, and i had to cut notches in it b/c the vertical bars are close enough to the edge that it made it stick out and was wavy.it still looks ok from a distance but you can see where i had to cut it up close.

heres how it turned out, dont look to bad in the pic

Looks good for just five bucks!! You might need to perfect it a little bit, but everything can always use a littel work.
