Try some forever black for the roof rack. As far as the rear moldings....are they pitted? Ate away by the sun?

Yes the rear window moldings are pitted and rough,i tried wet sanding a small spot but it turned a whiteish colour

Only way ive been able to save the rear moldings is to sand em down and then re-paint em. Otherwise there isnt too much you can do.

Some roof racks are not black, mine was a dark grey metallic... mine started peeling and fading in places, so I did away with it.

X2. Same thing about mine.
If you really want to keep it, then just take it off and repaint it or Rhino line it.

Rhino line it? Haven't though about that... I would more likely paint it to match or paint it black.

Mine is doing the same thing. Rhino Lining would work great!

Do you have any idea how much it would be for just enough to coat the roof racks?

Hopefully you guys are planning on removing your rack before you coat it... But even so, you'll have to mask off the track that the rails slide in if applicable...

Of course. I'd only be rhino lining the cross-members anyway. It would be nice for transporting kayaks as well with the anti-slip.
