i wanted to put zr2 flares on my 98 LT, is it possible or just easier to by some bushwackers or something like that?

it will require modification. not bad, but not great.
if you HAVE ZR2 flares, go with em. other wise look into "PACER Flares" they are cheap and look pretty slick.

ZR2's have a lip in the fender well that the flares attatch to. I'm guessing you would have to weld a lip or at least some tabs in order to use them. Plus, they are mucho $$$. Better off using some aftermarket flares, though you may have to get a bit inventive on the rears.

Could get a set for 4dr from New Zealand but it would cost an arm and a leg.

Wow, I didn't know that in New Zealand they excepted limbs as a standard currency

Are you driving a 2dr or 4dr? It's not mentioned in the OP...

the problem with ZR2 flares is that the fenders are different. ZR2s have wider openings in the front and the back.

thats what i thought,the fender wells look bigger on a zr2 i guess i will go with some after market ones thanks guys
