For a while, I've been wanting to paint my front grill bow-tie. It took so long because I didn't feel like popping the grill off (even though it's easy), and I hate painting, even spray painting. I finally took the time today and it came out great. Scuffed it with a little 80 grit, used the $3 "all purpose household" white spray paint from autozone, and a little dupli-color clear coat, then I waxed it for a little extra protection. It came out very glossy like I wanted, I am very happy with the results.

 

Looks good! I painted mine black. I'm going to paint my grille black so I'm thinking about putting a red(match the blazer) stripe along the outside of the bowtie.

 

i like the white, if it was mine and i did it white i would write chevy in it

 

well a rock popped up on the interstate and chipped it already...awesome
