gen 1 flares on gen 2

ok, i am gonna ask all though i think i know the answer.

i searched for awhile and found nothing.
gen 1 flares fit gen 2 blazer/s10 ?

yes i know modding will be needed, but how close would they be?

I tried with some of the smaller OEM flares at a junkyard a while back and it's a pretty close fit. Forgive my partially missing hand, I edited together two separate pics to get the full shot of the flare.

it looks pretty close..except at ends

i was asking because theres is a full set first gen on c-list for 20.00
they look good but are 45 min away.
dont know if i want to do the leg work.
