You need the front bumper as well. Maybe even more than that? The first issue is the GMC bumper dips down under the grille, then goes back up to the head lights. Blazers are flat all the way across.

from looking at the blazer next to a jimmy you might have to swap out headlights or you will have a huge gap between your headlights and parking lights unless you can modify that some how

Ah...I was assuming with a grille swap he would also swap headlights. Good point though!

Dude, I got a 95 blazer with a 00 type GMC type grille and such. You got to change the grille, bumper, cover, valence, and lights. So you are really looking at spending some cash! And on top of that, most GMC grilles are painted, so you have to paint it if that is the case.

actually I planned on painting it, but I do have an older second gen '96 I think and it fits even with my bumper but the light for it are causing a problem on the out side by the fenders there is a gap about 2". will newer gmc lights fill this in and will there be any other alingment problems with it?
need less to say now I have gmc head lights I cant use and will soon have blazer head lights I dont need (hopefully)

I am sure somebody would want the kit but I do know you can just trade out the grille straight from the gmc but since I have a 00 and I am pretty sure the grille came from a 96 so the head lights dont mount the same the lights are the same so I dont have to change the wiring harness but the light from the alder jimmy doesnt fill the hole from the blazer lights so I am hoping newer gmc lights will fit my fenders better and still match the grille from the older jimmy because if so I will have to buy another grille and I will have to get the bumper too.
they dont cost much in the yard I paid $55 for the grille and head lights and the bumper would cost $35 /w the cover the problem is finding a gmc, in the yards blazers out the wazoo only like 5 jimmys and no grilles, I got lucky the one I got just came in they haddent even put it where it was supposed to go yet.
