Default Grill Guard Mounts

Picked up a Factory Girll Guard that mounts where the tow hooks go

Only thing is it did not come with the mounting brackets.
Anyone know where I can get a set or have drawings that I could make some from?

What year is ur Blazer ?

Pic of the grill guard u got ?
(if possible have a buddy hold it
in same position as mine to compare)

These brackets are quite simple
and mount using existing bolts,
but..........
if ur planing to winch off it, got to go another
bracket way for sure.

Hey thanks for the quick reply

No plans for a winch maybe some lights

I have a 2000 Blazer ZR2
I test fitted it and it looks like it will go right where the tow hooks are and below the grill

Attached are a couple pictures

Yep thats what it looks like, just got to figure out if you want to loose you
recovery hooks or not.

Is there a name brand or any numbers on your guard to help
identify the guard maker/model ? (This would be a bonus..Lol)

Been a while since I had to mock up brackets, but you can use
some thin sheet metal that you can cut and bend by hand...
(or at least thats how I did it many moons ago..Lol)

There is a sticker with 31941 D
No other markings

No issue if I loose my hooks

Did you buy this from private party, dealer ?
Did they say what it came off exactly ?

Im curious where the brackets angled inward are going ?

Maybe someone on here has the exact setup that can
help with the mystery ...Lol

Call your chevy dealer give them that number or see
if they find a oem grill guard for your yr / model
I can only find oem factory brush guards for the following
Avalanche / 1500 truck / Hummer

Cant tell ...is the bottom bar a step ?

If so it may be a old GoRhino product number
the new one is 3140B, it has close match end bracket
as yours, you could contact GoRhino, see if that was a older
product number.......

I will keep sniffin around the web, but nothing
comes up on 31941 D and not a GM Number I found.
(I also tried GMPartsdirect )

I was told it came off a 2000 Jimmy and was bought Directly from the dealer GM

Long weekend right now but I will give them a call next week
In the past they have not been very helpful with anything older then a couple years

the middle brackets look to mount right above the bumper. Grill has to be removed to get at the bolts

I look around pretty good before and after I bought them and came up empty as well.
The price was too good to pass up so I figured I would take my chances
