i was wondering if the chrome grill on my blazer can be repainted black???is that a possibility? if how would i go abouts doing it

Yeah its possible. I believe all you would have to do is sand the chrome portions to make it paintable. Then lay down some primer, wetsand, primer, wetsand, base coat, wetsand, base coat, wetsand, clearcoat (s). I am not sure what you do after the clear coat. But I am sure someone else on here knows a little more about it than I do.

i think you can take off the chrome part... IIRC, psychropod removed his chrome grille.

i think somewhere he posted a how-to on how to take the grill off of a pre-1998 blazer but i dont remember where it is... im gonnakeep lookin

I found that grille removal one when I was installing my push bar. I was very thankful that I found it because I couldn't find those screws to remove the grille.
When I had the grille off, I was thinking of painting it black, but I think my chrome actually looks good, even if it is losing color in some spots.
I should've hit it with a coat of chrome paint.
