Junk yard or Craigslist are hands down the best places for cheap grill guards still in good condition. I would check those places often! There are hidden deals out there, just got to do a little searchin'.

I got a guard off of my buddies farm, one day he just found some chevy guards. it wasnt for my blazer but i did some mods on it and fabed out a mount so that it fit right to my frame. So ya the junk yard is a great place to look at. And if you cant find one that is made just for the blazer try looking for some small chevy truck one then just fab it.

i'm also interested in putting a bull bar on my truck. anyone has any pics of how they have them mounted? are there brackets that fit exact to the holes for the tow hooks or how else do you have them mounted. This will be for a 4DR 4WD, Thanks.

Here is how I mounted mine, its not one that was made for a blazer. It was made for a full size chevy truck, so i had to make the mounting brackets myself. I hope that this just light give you some ideas.

Ok thanks. I finally got a chrome bar with some brackets but they were not made for this truck so i guess thats where the creativity will come in to fab some brackets.

I just used holes that were already there from the factory for my bolting points, but i dont know if that will work for you. And as you could see i just ran square tubing and it actually is a lot more solid then i thought that it was going to turn out to be.
