Default Inner fender compatibility?

There is some rust on my inner fender, instead of trying to patch it, I figure it would be easier to just replace it. LMC truck has them for my year, but I found the inner fender on parts geek that is for a 91, for half the price. Are they interchangeable?

nevermind, I think I just answered my own question looking on LMC's website, lists years 82-93.

1st gens are pretty much the same except for when it comes to the grill/front clip. LMC has a pretty good breakdown at the front of the catalog that explains how the models differed by year (if you're interested in looking into that kind of thing). I would expect your part to be the same, and if LMC lists it as all model years, then you're probably fine. Make sure to check rockauto too, they even have a discount code for blazerforum!

The only difference on first gen inners is the options it had and if the holes are drilled to mount them. Stuff like the 4x4 or the cruise control that mounts to the inners. Even if the holes aint drilled from the factory there are dimples marking them.

I modded a set of 2wd truck fenders for my blazer and they bolted in fine. Id suggest having them bedlined before installing to keep them from rusting ever again.

the LMC ones are metal and the ones i find for cheaper other places are usually plastic.
