Default Inner fender replacement

Hi guys,

I want replace my inner fenders on my '78 Blazer, but I can get only hold of some '81 parts. On LMC I see that they offer 2 different types for these years. But would they fit anyway, maybe just drilling an extra hole somewhere, or are they really not interchangaeble?

Thanks!

In 81 they changed the body lines, as far as I know they are similar enough to look the same but not similar enough to fit the same. Going with a 73-80 inner would be your best bet. If you can get 81 inner fenders for cheap or free give them a shot, but if you have to buy them you might as well buy the right ones. Inner fenders are relatively inexpensive, $40 a piece..
