I know this is an old post, but what you can do to get colored interior lights is get some lighting gels (the kind that goes over stage lights or photographer lights) and cut them to shape and tape or glue them in place over the plastic panels. It might sound very amateur-ish but it seemed to do the trick really well in my blazer... Just food for thought

Your can also get the gels at autozone but LEDs look better, last longer, and have lower amp draw than the colored bulbs or gels.
