Interior drivers side spare tire mount removal?
Changing interior colors on a 2000 Blazer from tan to the dark grey version, found a good dark grey interior on a junk yard truck. We’ve got most of the interior removed but the upper panel that the spare tire carrier goes thru will not budge. We’ve got most were able to see 2 bolts close together inside the trim panel near the tail light and one just forward of the carrier, then the one more bolt into the floor of the cargo area, STILL wont budge. It appears that the carriers slips thru the trim panel on the drivers side but we’re only able to see those 4 attach points, are we missing something somewhere??
QUICK CLARIFICATION….. the spare tire carrier will not budge, the plastic interior panels is free from all clips and a screw or 2. The carrier goes thru the plastic upper interior panels is free and we see no way to work it out of being entangled with the spare carrier without getting the spare carrier lose from the truck

I have found that the exploded diagrams here can been useful in such situations.
