1998 blazer lt

Has anyone gotten rid of the cassette deck? What did you put there to replace it? I want to get rid of it but dont know what to do with it. Please give me some suggestions.

On my other blazer i got rid of before this one i went ahead and made it a switch panel. For fog lights amps etc.

 

I am planning on taking it out and putting an amp there instead. However at this time I am also currently planning on fiberglassing a whole new console to make it easier to get to the amp if need be. Hopefully

 

hi brian, what i did was to take the old stereo out got a cd player cut out hole to fit cd player. then a went on ebay bought a 2' x2' sheet of black plastic cut out a filler piece put over cd player and hole in dash looks stock nice and neat real sweet. good luck. bubba

 

I think he means the remote cassette player on the center console
