Default Keep the patina

First time to this forum and first time square body owner.

I have to do some rust repair and I would like to, as closely possible, match the “patina”. Any suggestions or threads that would be helpful? Yes,I will be searching.

A difficult one as the rust has to be addressed properly. It will involve re-painting which is a problem to keep a patina.
Depending on your abilities might do some airbrush touch-ups once the rust is properly removed. Even re-paint rust patches.

Another option would be to repair all the rust and finally cover completely with a satin clear-coat.
Will depend on how much you can spend or on what works you can do by yourself.

Thanks error for the response. It has been a while since I have painted. I have tested airbrushing before on another blend and that may be something I try.
