Thinking about a hand held myself. What external antenna are you using?

Otherwise, the cassette deck or cassette tape holder spots are great ideas.

I just put mine under the ash tray. But everytime you hit a bump it will fall so i just wdged something behind it to keep it up.

I use to be into CB radio at one point in my life, then i got my ham radio license. here is my radio install in my truck ..

Holy crap . That's quite the setup you have!! I like it a lot. Is that a Ford that all of that is in? looks like a Ford dash...
Where did you get the sweet car charger light? I like that a lot.

Yes thats my Ford Excursion, it is my emergency response vehicle for amateur radio emergency communications.

I have a 91 blazer that i am working on transferring into a communication truck. images coming soon

Nice...what about that light you have plugged into the cigarette lighter? Where'd you find that at? It's pretty sweet.

that is a bolt on style light hardwired into the radio console. go to -www.galls.com-
