Default Manual rear lift gate

I've got a 2000 Blazer, and of course the lift gate operates electronically. Has anyone modified, or is there a rear gate that operates manually like a Gen 1 Blazer? I dislike these elctronic gadgets and woul prefer a gat I can lock and unlock with a key, not a keyfob (which I don't have anyways).
Thanks.

I've thought about this too but I cannot suggest a fix. Perhaps there is a way to install to pull cord like they do for opening a trunk of a car from the inside? This was super frustrating when I was needing to get into the back of a Blazer at the wrecking yard.

If you figure something out, let us know!
