Question need help replacing driver window motor 02 blazer

I am so impressed by this forum, thanks for having it. I just fixed my rear hatch actuator by following directions posted and it works perfectly. I am going to replace my driver side power window lift. Does anyone have step by step directions?

are you replacing the whole window regulator or just the motor? and are you using new or used parts?

you first want to remove the door panel. you do this by removing the two bolts that are under the armrest and one behind the inside door handle. then wedge a flat blade screwdriver under the bottom of the door panel and gently pry towards you. and work your way around the whole perimiter of the panel until all of the plastic retrainers are removed. then lift up on the door panel from the bottom and the top will come apart from the track its in. now you should see the motor assembly. now you need to unplug the motor and your going to have to drill out the rivets that hold the motor in. once drilled the motor should pull out towards you and you can put the new motor in with bolts. use thread locker on the bolts so that they dont come loose. plug the connector in and put your door panel back on starting at the top, put the top part in the track then push on the door panel until all the plastic clips are in. and you should be all set

When you perform Ryanmatt's procedure, double check and triple check the plugs to make sure they are tight. Taking it back apart and reconnecting the plug is not fun.

Thank you so much! The new bolts were a problem because of the gear plate behind the hole but with a little sweat I got it mounted, thanks!

I have a 91 Blazer. Is the process drastically different? I also have used parts.
