Default Paint codes

I am trying to find the exact name of the color of my Blazer, and was told that the code is in the glove compartment. There is a sticker with not only my vin# but a bunch of other codes as well. Which one of those codes is for the paint? I don't even know what a paint code should start with.... Any ideas?[sm=helpout.gif]

All the codes are the RPO codes for your vehicle. They list out every option/add-on/package associated with your particular vehicle. Color is at the bottom of the sticker, it's one of the only, if not the only, 4 digit code on there. It's kinda set off from the rest of the listing.

Mine is Victory Red, and is U9620 or something like that.

I think Kyle has the full list, if you can go get your paint code for him!

EDIT: Through doing some looking at other posts, It looks like your paint code is listed in the RPOs as a 3-digit (possibly in conjuction with the 4 digit code I mentioned?).

Try this rpo decoder if you have alot of time/no one else posts in the near future

Ok, so I checked and it says at the bottom of all the codes:

BC/CC U333D 642

The last of the middle one looks like a d to me but could be an 0???
My blazer is a chocolate brown color

You will be looking at the bottom of the RPO sticker for a U#### or L#### & U#### if you are two tone. Your dealer should be able to tell you the exact color. Any paint shop would be able to tell you as well.

BTW, you need to supply your vehicle info to go anywhere with what you posted...

Just looked up your year '98... I don't have the paint tables for your year.

Haha yea I did that a little bit ago. I think it's worth it, lets you know all the different things you've got on your blazer. I found out mine was made for Alamo, the rental company. Well, at least the RPO says fleet incentive, Alamo Corp.

You can also see your axle ratios, and all sorts of other exciting stuff

All those codes and no color, so I think that I'm going to go with "smokey caramel metallic" for now, makes sense with the color of my blazer. Thanks for your help![sm=thanx.gif]
