Painted some stuff!!! *updated*

I got a wild hair across my ... yesterday and decided to paint my faded rear window finishing panels. Did it... ran out of paint. Got more paint.... finished it. Had paint left over.Mirrors came off... Mirrors got painted... at midnight they went back on,and I have pics!!!!!

It was pretty easy.I used Krylon fusion semi-gloss. I had to wash them with dish liquid to get the armor-all off for the paint to stick. I also lightly, LIGHTLY, sanded the finishing panels with 1000 grit beforehand to make sure the paint stuck. The mirrors were aggravating to get back on. I lost a 10mm deep socket to the depths of the inside of the door and the nut to boot, but luckily found one to replace it with in the shop.
I didn't realize until I had them painted, how much they looked like crap-ola before.
Next on my schiza list is the vent grilles at the base of the windsheild. And possibly if I get the notion, I'm gonna take the whole grille off and paint everything that ain't chrome, black.

Brent, the rear window trim was the first thing I did when I bought my Blazer.
I couldn't walk past it without noticing how bad they were faded.
Lookin Good bud.
