Putting d rings on a 99 blazer?

Yes there is a way,
I have used 2" receiver tube from Princess auto,
Made 4 holes bolted the tubes into frame and then added D ring and shackles to it...
When making the 4 holes I lined everything up marked and drilled,
When doing the holes for the Air dampener i kept the threaded part in the frame and just added a nut and washer to it from the inside of the receiver tube.
I think i used 12-14 inch receiver tubes... and stock D rings and shackles...
Hope this helps

Nothing too exciting to report. I did replace the muffler and tailpipe with a Walker kit (not the Dynomax one). The installation was pretty easy but the removal of the old one sucked! I had to use an angle-grinder to get the bolts off the flange at the front end of the muffler. Before I installed these I painted them with high-temp paint from VHT. I used the primer and then painted them with the paint for brake calipers as it had a heat range for the curing that would be low enough to totally cure the paint at least on the muffler. The reason I did this was because my old muffler had started to rust and then the exit tube broke when I went over a bad pot-hole. I thought I might as well try to improve the odds of preventing new rust.
I have some vacation planed, but later this summer I'm looking to install my new NOS torsion bars and new rear springs. Then later, I hope to get the 1-ton idler arm upgrade installed.
