Default questions about interior spare tire carrier

i just picked one up from the junkyard and once i got all the interior pieces out of the way i realized that there are no mounts for the carrier in my truck. does anyone know if and where i can get the mounts? id like to avoid welding this in if i do decide to use it

First time for everything I suppose. Most 4drs have them mounted underneath. Most 4X4 two doors have the rear mount. Some 4X2 have interior mounts and all Xtremes that I know of have the interior mount. Maybe that can be another poll to go along with 2-wheel VS 4-wheel and what color Blazer we own. When I planned on lowering mine I wanted the interior mount like you're planning on doing stevel. If you have no mounting points, it may be a welding job. I know my jack, wheel chocks, and lug wrench are in the spot where the interior spare would be, and I believe the plastic would be different as well between an exterior and interior mount spare.

yep everything is in the way and the plastic moldings wont fit with it in there.
i was considering welding it in there but i may just get rid of it
