Racing Seats???
Just wondering if anyone has ever tried to put custom seats in an S10 Blazer. I was considering something like these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-X...Q5fAccessories and wondered how much customization they would involve.

Been looking at those myself. I'm not sure, but they say you can re-use the factory slider mount. If that's true I may be getting a pair as well.

How difficult were those to install? Are they decent quality? Sometimes, stuff from jcwhitney is decent, and sometimes it seems to be junk. I do like the look of those posted though.

i put them in a k5 so they are going to be different from an s series blazer.
on the k5 the riser separates from the seat. not sure if they do or not the s-series or not.
on the k5 i had to weld in a piece of steel because the trac was narrower then stock. it might be close to an s-series. if you want i still have one of them out of the truck i can take some measurements.

BlueBlazer,
Any specifics you can provide about the welding you had to do would be appreciated. I've been trying to just get the stock seats redone, but it looks like it would be cheaper to replace them.....as long as I don't have to spend a fortune getting work done to make them fit. I have an '88 K5 Silverado.
Appreciate anything you are willing to provide.
Thanks man.
