Rear doors close with a slam
I have a 2024 Blazer and everything seemed fine with the doors when I first bought it new but a few months later it's almost like the rubber seals around the back doors lost some of their volume. Both rear doors sound like a hard slam when closing them, like the seal is not providing any padding. There are no alignment issues with the doors when looking at the exterior of the car and no road/wind noise coming from the doors.
I brought it into the dealership once I noticed this and they said "it's normal". I had a 2020 Blazer for 4 years and it was never like that.
You mostly hear the slam when you are inside the car and someone closes it. It's not very noticeable on the outside. There is no loose interior plastic that could be making noise.
Anyways, are there any remedies for this, or perhaps an aftermarket door seal that might have more padding to it?
Thanks
