rear ended @25mph & what i did to repair my blazer. pics!
so i got rear ended @25mph . all the damage was on the bumper, bumper ends, and spare tire carrier.
i spent a total of $65 on repairs, $35 for bumper and spare tire carrier (junkyard) and $30 on paint, primer, 180 sand paper, and bondo.
i used rustoleum primer and flat black epoxy paint about 2 cans of each.
i apologize if i posted this in the wrong area.

Heck yea nice work .

Wow, that looks really nice! Why flat black though? I don't think I see any on the lower portions of the rest of the truck? Future plan?
#5
So.. how much did you clear on the deal?

me and the lady that hit me both have michigan no fault insurance or PLPD so i took matters into my own hands as of repairs. but hey $65 total cost on repairs is not bad at all. when summer comes, everything from the body line down will be flat black, my favorite colors are black and blue and i just think they go together well.

So she can smash other people's property and just walk away without paying for repairs, What a system.

Looks good. I like the flat black or rubberized undercoating on the bottom of the panel

3rd party damage is covered but not your own damages unless your injured, its flat black paint, i was originally going to do undercoating but it was getting a little on the expensive side

just a note on the bondo, how deep was the crater you filled in. in the pics it looked deeper than a 1/4 inch and generally bondo that is applied deeper than that will crack out. or just pop off entirely.
