As progress slowly continues on my '02 Jimmy (4-door) SLS build, I am seriously considering doing a rear seat delete.

Just wondering what others have done with regards to making this usable storage space. Like other companies, Goose Gear doesn't offer a turn key solution so whatever I do will be custom.

Ideally I'd like something that I can switch back when required or possible leave the passenger side rear seat in (can I take out only the drivers side or do both sides have to come out?)

The build is a DD currently but eventually we be just my weekend/get-away truck.

So if you have done this, I'd love to see what you have done (photos) and any advise is appreciated.

You are able to take out just one if you'd like. I haven't done this myself, but I'm sure a wooden frame build up level with the rear floor would work. Can include the side or leave open for access, as well maybe a latch for access through the top if enclosed...
