hi. i painted some interior panels mysef, and even tho it came out good and matches the exterior... i hate it, and i want it back to the original gray.
does anyone know how i can get the paint off without ruinin the plastic?

Oh, yeah, I've seen that done on "Unique Whips"with a rattle-can. Never have understood painting the dashboard face.

dude, you got a problem. try to take it off with reducer. NOT lacqer thinner. other than that it'll have to ware off. everything eats plastic if u sand it it wares it. your stuck with it. bubba

thanks. im not sure i know what reducer is tho.
i have the dye that is the same color of the interior. it sprays like spray paint. i got it from my old work.
its only the dash and trim around the passenger vent.
guess i could just get gray ones from s10 warehouse or somethin

Have you researched soda blasting? Its suppose to be one of the best ways to remove paint from plastic safely. Its just like sand blasting exept they use food grade baking soda.

Soda blasting will remove the paint, but you won't be left with a shiny surface... It'll take the sheen off of the plastic surface.
