I see a lot that some rims are made for 2 wheel drive trucks. Does it really matter if you put ones designed for 2 wheel drive on a 4 wheel drive truck?

 

YES!!!!!! it does. the backspacing for the 2WD is about half of that for the 4WD. This will push most of the wheel out past the fenders and it REALLY looks like SHIIIIIIIIIT!!!

 

yeah, what he said. my friend bought a set of pacers for his blazer that were for front wheel drive cars. eeeek. they look terrible.

 

i got 2wd rims on mine. he is right, it looks like ****.....***.


just got to make it the right set. the biggest problem is u will go threw steering joints alot quicker. i was changing my idler arm every 2 months till i stoped driving it due to money and the clutch goin out.

but 4x4 rims will not fit on a 2wd. they hit the steering link ends
