Roll cages
So I've always wanted to get a roll cage/ exo cage but I have no idea on if they are street legal in pa. I've spent hours asking local shops, google, and even went to my dmv and none could give me a straight answer. If anyone could help me that would be great.

Thats the confusing part, if you read lower on that forum it later states it illegal, thats why I'm hoping can find the vehicle code.

Not sure about the legality but most frown upon a rollcage on the street. if in a accident your head could smack a bar. With out a helmet that might give a bit if a headache. Just make sure you keep a good distance from the cranium And use padding. A set of 5 point harness help keep ya in place. I plan to cage my fullsize when i do the body work. I have seen to many rollovers off road to go with out. my 2 cents if that helps.

In most states an interior roll cage is perfectly legal. And, again, in most states an exo is illegal for an on road vehicle. Exo's have one purpose and that is for offroad.
Sucks you cant' find the answer from your own state.

As long as its not blocking your vision i dont see why a exo cage is illegal.. all it does is better protect you. But then again if you get in an accident with an exo the other cars will be pretty toast, so thats why they might be illegal. But hey not your fault the other cars didnt have an exo cage
