roofrack bolt will not come out

Default roofrack bolt will not come out

ok i pulled my roofrack and then i was tightening them one on the back broke whatever it threads into and it just spins now. can i get the whole little assembly out without doing damage to the roof?

dude, get an easy out from your parts store. drill it it should come rite out. no biggy no damage. good luck bubba

the bolt didnt break in there. the actual part it threads to broke loose and just spins when i try to unthread the bolt.

I would try some type of adhesive to try to get the threaded part to hold tight. Something way better than super glue, but something that won't leak or deteriorate fast. Maybe epoxy or gorilla glue.

i might throw some 8115 around it. that should hold it good
