Would anyone know where to find the black plastic ring which holds the shifter boot in place on
a 2004 ZR2 with automatic transmission?

That would be a floor shifter, correct?

Does it look similar to one of these?
Truck Parts and Truck Accessories

If not, maybe eBay, Craigslist part out, or the salvage yard.

No, but thanks for responding. GM has it as a discontinued part and I have never had a harder time trying to find a shifter boot or the retaining ring. Back to the junk yard but thank you again.
