Default Sun Visors 00 Blazer

I have a problem with the sunvisors on my 00 Blazer. I have the twin mirror visors with the lights, and the flip up door has broken off on each of them. It is really hot down here in Yuma, and I am guessing that the heat deteriated the plastic. Are these available? or had anybody come up with a better hinge? I placed velcro on each one so the light goes out and it is still usable. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't think the heat had much to do with it. It's just cheap plastic, and I doubt GM could have made those hinges any smaller[:@]. But whatever you do, don't buy from the dealer. I called and checked just out of curiosity, and they charge $285 a piece for mirror+light visors.
